This weird time of year...
Most of my colleagues slapped their laptops closed last week, but here I am!
One of the struggles of the creative brain is that you have to use your energy when you have it, because on the days you don't - it's hard to get anything done.
One of the struggles of the creative entrepreneurial brain is that the creative ebbs and flows dictate not just your own life, but a lot of other peoples also.
I cancelled a lot of meetings at the end of this year. There was too much movement; holidays, visitors, and joy took priority over newsletters or DMs.
So here we are, a few days before the new year, and I'm doing all the ritual cleaning out of my physical space and preparing for a full 2026, and I'm a little lost. I have a meeting at 10 am to prepare for, so I am starting with these questions to prepare?
What's most important to me? To the Yinsa staff?
What needs to change in my personal life? How will that impact the company?
What needs to change in my professional life? How will that impact our work together?
When am I going back to the states? Getting my stuff out of storage?
Am I really ready for all the blessings I have lined up?
You know, small things...
When the anxiety surrounding the false-belief that questions must be answered today or tomorrow or by some fictional start or end date - I remind myself that it's just any other Monday, and the things will get done. The most important part is that in all places - personal and professional - I lead with intention.
Who do I aim to serve?
How am I best equipped to serve them?
How does this service connect with service to my own heart and mind?
All those other questions - I can actually answer them on retreat in February...
What people don't always realize is one reason I host retreats is because I grow there too - it's why I hire drivers and teachers and locals to do all the heavy lifting, so I can focus on giving AND receiving. It allows me to look at every experience as a teacher, a business owner, and a client.
Here is what I do know:
A creative and spiritual mind cannot grow in chaos, so in deep-cleaning my home over the next few days, I will welcome in order and clarity. This means moving furniture, doing a floor wash, cleaning out pantries and refrigerators.
It means choosing to stay home on the eve of the 31st so I can lock in to the energy of evolution and growth without worrying about anyone else's energy interfering with the sheer gratitude I have for the life I get to live, in spite of what seemed like one hell of a year.
I get to spend the next few days cooking delicious meals, drawing, coloring, listening to music, and spending time with friends, with no pressure.
This time last year I was in pure hell, and I had no idea. Now, I am not. That in itself is a win.
What a gift and privilege it is to celebrate the evolution that was 2025.
I am VERY MUCH ready to celebrate 2026, and I want to do it with you, in person.
I will never give up my online community, but I want it to be led by in-person work. If you are interested in a private coaching session - IN-PERSON in 2026, here are all your options.
Miami - January 12th and 13th
DR - February 13-18, (group), February 22-24 (private)
NYC - March 20th and 21st.
If you want to THRIVE - and actually live your life - in 2026, this is your sign to join me.
Together we can:
- Identify your biggest pain point - what is causing you the most suffering?
- Develop a strategy together to address it
- Measure progress over the course of a group retreat or private sessions, (or both).
- Celebrate your wins at the end, and evaluate tools that resonate as you uncover more things you want to work on!
Work with Yinsa teachers and coaches changes lives. Travel, play, laughter, cleansing tears - it's all part of the process. Most people have to do this work alone, some with the support of friends, but with us - you have a dedicated team with not just the desire, but the foundational and clinical training to support our work together.
On-retreat social worker? We have that.
Travel and logistics coordinator? We have that.
Multi-lingual support? We have that.
From group chats to online-support, you don't have to tackle your self-development work in 2026 alone. We are here to hold your hand, especially when it gets hard.
If you want more info about how we can work together, respond to this email. Know someone who can benefit from work on a Yinsa retreat? Our referral credit is $500 for the rest of this year, so feel free to e-connect me with your people, and the offer is yours. We have special pricing for teachers for all of our programs, so if you are a teacher, reach out for more info.
I am excited to see what 2026 holds for always. One thing that's promised? An adventure.
With Gratitude,
Daniele
