In the afternoon, we will embark on a private catamaran cruise departing from Sosua, offering an exclusive opportunity to explore the Dominican Republic’s stunning coastline in luxury. We will sail across crystal-clear turquoise waters, soaking in panoramic ocean views and warm sunshine. Food as Medicine - Dominican Cooking and Culture

Today's Yoga and Meditation session will focus on reconnecting with our core—both physically and spiritually. The accompanying workshop will explore the concept of food as medicine. In the afternoon, you will learn to cook with intention, preparing some of our favorite Dominican dishes under the guidance of a local chef. Discover how to master the pilon, a traditional wooden mortar and pestle, and take home your own hand-carved pilon crafted by a local artisan.

February 16th

Herbal Allies

Our morning session centers on using breathwork as a tool for emotional regulation, followed by a workshop exploring the concept of worthiness. After lunch, we will join a local herbalist who will guide us in harnessing herbs as allies in our journey toward self-love. Participants will learn to create teas, tinctures, and smoke blends, and will take home a personalized herbal blend to support their ongoing self-love practice.

Choose your own adventure!

One insight we've gained from hosting retreats is that it's impossible to experience everything—especially when your interests may differ from your roommate's. That's perfectly fine. We offer a curated selection of exceptional local tours through the mountains, countryside, and along the beach. Whether you want to ride an ATV, hike to a waterfall, or horseback ride on the shore, it's all available. You can also spend a day at a beach club, enjoy a massage or facial, and watch the kitesurfers—allowing you to choose your ideal pace for the day. Explore our curated list of excursions, and we'll handle all the arrangements. In the evening, we'll gather for a closing ceremony to reflect on and celebrate the experiences and insights we've shared.

Next Steps

As we conclude our time together, we will introduce you to the online platform where your self-love journey will continue. You will then be transferred to the airport or your next destination within the Dominican Republic.

Cabarete Highlights...

Why we love Cabarete!

  • Experience world-class kiteboarding on Cabarete’s famed windswept beaches
  • Explore vibrant local markets and savor authentic Dominican cuisine
  • Discover hidden waterfalls and lush tropical trails just outside town

Our Favorite Restaurants

  • Aura Beach Club – A slice of Bali in DR with creative cocktails, creative food, and located right on the beach. Transforms into a party at night.
  • La Casita de Papi – Traditional Dominican flavors served in a cozy, authentic setting.
  • Case Ventiuno - A Belgian spot in Sosua that was named the best restaurant in the Caribbean. One of my favorites!
